- Possession of 4 or less Vicodin pills without a valid prescription – a Fourth Degree Crime

- Vicodin Prescription Forgery, Theft or Fraud – a Third Degree Crime
- Fines of up to $50,000
- Up to 5 years in NJ State Prison
- Possession of between 5 and 99 Vicodin pills – a Third Degree Crime
- Fines of up to $200,000
- Up to 5 years in NJ State Prison
- Possession of 100 or more Vicodin pills with intent to distribute – a Second or First Degree Crime:
- Fines of up to $300,000
- Up to 10 years in NJ State Prison (Second Degree)
- Up to 20 years in NJ State Prison (First Degree)
